Every week in the Her.ie offices we are inundated with requests from people asking us to help them promote their charity events. While every cause is worthwhile, unfortunately we can’t get around to all of them and so for that reason, we have decided to put together some of these events from around the country. Every week, we will feature five events you should get behind or get involved with over the next few months. There are tonnes of amazing organisations in this country, let’s help them out.
Scoop up some fun with HB in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland
As if we needed one more reason to enjoy a scoop of ice-cream!
HB are calling on people across Ireland to organise their own ice cream party this summer to raise much needed funds for Down Syndrome Ireland. The money raised helps to fund core services in the areas of Early Development, Education, Health, Speech and Language Therapy and Independence to members of DSI and the professional community connected by Down Syndrome.
To get involved freephone 1890 37 37 37 or register online here to receive your party pack, which includes vouchers for free HB Hazelbrook Farm ice cream.

Take in some peachy art for Aware
Peachy Dublin is an art and documentary venture in aid of Aware. Exhibiting the work of more than 40 talented Irish artists across the four floors of the Temple Bar Gallery, the project takes a snapshot of strangers’ memories, recreating them with original art.
Stroll through the gallery, buy some original art or even help spread the word! Running until late Saturday evening, it’s the perfect way to while away a lazy afternoon.
For more information about the Peachy Art project, check out their website here.
