These are least stressful cities to live in around the world

Big cities can be stressful. And it's not just down to their population or layout, with other economic and social issues affecting how stressful they can be. The folks over at Zipjet have commissioned a study to find the least and most stressful cities to live in around the world. Starting with the least stressful, it was found that Stuttgart in Germany is the best in the world. Joining Stuttgart in the top three are Luxembourg and Hannover. On the other hand, Baghdad in Iraq was found to be the worst. The others in the top three worst are Kabul in Afghanistan and Lagos in Nigeria. The study compared negatives effects on a person's life, in terms of the city itself, pollution, finance and the people living there. Within each category were subcategories which assessed different variables such as traffic, security and mental health. Other areas taken into consideration were unemployment, hours of sunshine, race equality, public transport and gender equality. The study established that the top ten least stressful cities to live in are:

1. Stuttgart, Germany 2. Luxembourg, Luxembourg 3. Hannover, Germany 4. Bern, Switzerland 5. Munich, Germany 6. Bordeaux, France 7. Edinburgh, United Kingdom 8. Sydney, Australia 9. Hamburg, Germany 10. Graz, Austria

While, the most stressful to live in are:

1. Baghdad, Iraq 2. Kabul, Afghanistan 3. Lagos, Nigeria 4. Dakar, Senegal 5. Cairo, Egypt 6. Tehran, Iran 7. Dhaka, Bangladesh 8. Karachi, Pakistan 9. New Delhi, India 10. Manila, Philippines

Commenting on the results, Managing Director of Zipjet, Florian Färber said:
