Some lads think Google Earth is trying to expose a ‘secret’ about the world

Jade Hayden

Right.

There’s no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than considering the possibilities of a few conspiracy theories.

If the Mandela Effect, Kubrick shot the moon landing, or 9/11 was an inside job don’t peak your interest almost every day of week then you must have a lot of other things going on in your life and if so, good for you, we’re not jealous at all.

If you don’t though, and like us, you’re absolutely interested in reading about all of the ways that the government are apparently poisoning us all via chemtrails and laughing at those who fully believe these theories while also admitting to yourself that yeah, that could actually make a bit of sense but I’ll never admit that to anyone else, then look no further than the following conspiracy.

Because some lads think that a rogue Google Earth employee is trying to show them some secrets about the world – and it’s an absolute wild ride from start to finish.

Basically, YouTube channel Conspiracy Depot discovered on Thursday that if you hovered over Antartica that a huge red X appeared.

So, why is the X there, we hear you ask – could it be pointing to extraterrestrial life on Earth? Is it a marker for a UFO landing site? Is that exactly where they’re going to open up the latest Chopped?

Who can say for sure?

Well, as it turns out, some other lads can and they’ve pretty much debunked the shit out of this conspiracy theory by saying that the X was probably just a glitch accidentally left in by an employee who wanted to point out an error in the software that needed fixing.

Not as fun as an indicator of the exact point in the world where Beyonce became the Illuminati and triggered the New World Order, but sure look.
