The study indicates that possible reasons for this is the perception that redheads are seen as having bold, unique features, which sets them apart from their colleagues.
Other factors that could influence their rise to the top is that bosses can easily distinguish redheads from their more common hair colour counterparts – which makes their work stand out in the workplace.
So while there’s a strong chance that although redheads may not be genetically superior to the rest of us, they stand out for all the right reasons when it comes to promotions.
