Sydney woman Joanne Choo has made a finger-lickin’ statement with her baby shower, which follows on from the theme of her engagement and wedding pictures.
The 29-year-old KFC-obsessed woman has been collecting the fast food chain’s buckets for 11 years and went so far as to include her collectables in her wedding pictures.
Not only that but the Australian doctor – who has a grand total of 29 unique KFC buckets out of a 42-strong collection – also used the buckets as part of her engagement party photographs.
The chicken fan also got KFC to cater for her wedding and baby shower.
In fact, Mrs. Choo’s love of KFC buckets helped her to get to know her husband, Jonathon.
“We already attended the same church,” she told Daily Mail Australia. “And lead the same youth group where we took people out for KFC and watched cricket together – so it just became part of our story.
“On the wedding day, the lunch between the day ceremony and the night reception had to be a quick one, so we thought “of course, KFC!”
Mrs. Choo, who is currently 36-weeks pregnant, also enjoyed KFC on her farewell party from work.
Her bucket obsession has not gone unnoticed by the food giants and one of Mrs.Choo’s favourite buckets is the limited edition KFC fan bucket which features the faces of 200 fans including her own.
“There’s just something special about them releasing different buckets over the years,” she added.
“My husband has been very good in letting me have a space in the guest room (to keep the buckets), but that’s becoming the baby’s nursery so I’ll probably have to cull the doubles and only keep a unique set.”
She was quick to add that KFC is only eaten by the pair on special occasions and not as part of their regular diet.
