Jeremy Kyle Show Report Guests For Child Neglect

The Jeremy Kyle Show has been praised for tipping off police about a child neglect case that saw two toddlers taken from their family home. According to Metro UK, a 23-year old woman and 26-year old man were guests on the show when staff were asked to mind the couple’s children. Staff became concerned about the children’s welfare after noting the two children, who were under the age of two at the time, smelt strongly of faeces and urine. After tipping off police, a raid was carried out in the family home, where police took the children into care immediately after witnessing ‘shocking and horrific’ living conditions. The couple appeared at Coventry Crown Court this week The couple appeared at Coventry Crown Court on Tuesday, and were sentenced to 12 months in jail, suspended for two years. During the case, Judge Philip Gregory told the defendants: “You had the care of two very young and vulnerable children. This was an enormous privilege. You were responsible to discharge that care carefully and properly so that these two children were well looked after, properly fed, kept warm and kept clean. “Over a period of at least two months you failed immeasurably to fulfill that responsibility to these two children. As a consequence your home was visited and was found to be, quite frankly, disgusting. “The two children were not properly clothed, you had let them get too cold, you hadn’t fed them properly and you hadn’t washed them.”
