A baby girl survives a crash against the odds after being thrown into the opposite lane on the road after the car she was travelling in lost control.
The girl was thrown out of the car window under two oncoming trucks who swerved to avoid her.
The Russian amateur dashboard video of the baby girl miraculously surviving the crash has become an internet sensation. The video shows the car smashing into a truck near the town of Nizhny Novgorod, about 500 kilometres east of Moscow.
The girl is seen trying to get on all fours to escape before her father rushes out of the car to snatch her from the next oncoming truck.
The girl’s mother is then seen rushing from the back door to pick up a baby blanket and her handbag from the road.
The horrific part? The police later said that the one-year-old girl was not in the child car seat, but was just lying across the car’s back seat.
