The weather outside is frightful and judging from the pictures we’ve seen, various parts of Ireland are currently under water.
Here’s a brief snapshot of what’s happening in various parts of the country right now.
As we all know, the talk of flooding started last night when it was reported that county Cork was having some difficulty, just check out this picture from Twitter user @brianmacca:

Then this morning, the rain continued and the rest of the country soon started to get hit with flooding and flood warnings.
This is a snap from the M11 northbound near Bray. This was taken at around lunch time and shortly after it was recieved, the AA announced that the road was closed (image via @AndreaLHenry).

The river Slaney in Enniscorthy, County Wexford burst its banks this afternoon and juding from the pictures, the entire bottom of the town is practically submerged:
