It’s official – Pokemon Go is taking over everyday life and confusing everyone.

At this stage, you’ll have surely heard about the latest craze, Pokemon Go. It’s a game on your phone where you have to walk around and collect Pokemon through an interactive map on the App. People are getting really competitive and scouring their area in search of all the Pokemon.

Our Ciara went around Dublin playing the game and you can see how she go on here.

Also, it’s been proven that playing Pokemon Go can help you burn calories due to its the active nature of the game where you physically have to walk around in order to catch ’em all.

And while it’s captured the attention of some people, it’s also managed to lead to some unfortunate situations, with one man getting himself fired due to the game.

It’s also led to some confusing situations such as the one that Her reader Diana has told us about. While her boyfriend was at home for the day studying, he texted her to tell her that he had found a Squirtle in their bathroom.

Pokemon fans will know that the Squirtle is a water-based Pokemon, but what led to the confusion is that when her boyfriend sent the text his phone autocorrected it so that it read, “squirrel”.

The conversation played out with her being shocked and confused and it makes for some entertaining reading.

Diana’s boyfriend later took the opportunity to take the piss out of the situation and convinced her that he had abandoned his studies to go out for a Pokemon.
