It Sounds Like There’s More Major Changes Afoot At 2FM

The plot thickens.  Earlier this week it was rumoured that Ryan Tubridy is set to be leave 2FM and now it sounds as though there could be yet more changes afoot. According to reports, Al Porter, who currently works alongside Colm Hayes, may be getting his own slot at the station. In an interview this week, the 22-year-old funnyman seemed to be suggesting that there are big changes coming down the line. “I am definitely going to be staying on radio,” he told The Herald. “It just hasn’t been decided if I’ll be staying with Colm or doing my own show. “There is talk of me getting my own slot and 2FM will be announcing quite a line-up change in September. “It will all be revealed then,” he added. “If I move to the weekends, I’ll spend more time gigging in London.”
