Irish workers wanted for ‘all expenses paid’ jobs in Dubai

Where do we sign?

Class.

With yet more cold weather looming over the Easter weekend, it’s nice to daydream about living in a place where you don’t need to wear three jumpers for most of the year.

Now might be a good time to think about making those dreams a reality as Irish workers are being given the chance to escape the dreary climate and hit Dubai.

The Dubai Irish Village, a sort of Irish mecca in the desert city, wants people to come from Ireland to work as waiters and waitresses in its restaurants and bars.

These aren’t run-of-the-mill hospitality sector jobs either – workers will have all of their expenses paid and will even be helped out with getting to Dubai.

The Village will cover accommodation and travel to and from work every day and will also give new recruits a hand with their visas.

There are a couple of requirements, though.

“You must be at least 21 years old and have at least 1 year customer service experience. You must have an up to date passport and be available to travel ASAP,” the job listing on Jobalerts.ie reads.

Applicants must also be able to start as soon as possible and the contract is for just one year.

Successful recruits will be working with a team of staff aged 21 to 30.

“If you are interested please email your CV to theirishvillage@cut-e.com as soon as possible as interviews are currently underway.”
