Irish Rail Fail: Iarnród Éireann Tweet Wrong Time Change to Customers

Well at least they wouldn't have missed their trains!

Iarnród Éireann customers would have been extra early for their trains this morning considering they tweeted out that the clocks had gone back, not forward.

The Irish rail company reminded their followers to check their travel times because of the clock changing during the night but they said that the hour was going back as opposed to forward.

This led to a number of customers commenting on the mistake including one who said, “either way… The trains still wouldn’t arrive on time !!!!”

Iarnród Éireann then corrected their error with another tweet (some six hours later might we add) saying: “Apologies Clocks have gone forward!”

Well, to be fair, it could have been worse. Saying the clocks were going forward when they were going back really would have been unforgivable!
