Usually when we think of McDonald’s restaurants, we imagine reinforced plastic seats, an oversized Ronald McDonald and occasionally, dingy motorway roadside venues. That’s not the case with these gems…
USA Today have compiled a list of the Top 10 Coolest McDonald’s in the world and the Bray outlet has made the top 5 of that list. The restaurant is located in Bray Town Hall, a building which dates back to the 19th century.
Many have claimed that the McDonald’s branch looks completely out of place in the building, but the global giant has ensured a city centre location in the Town Hall. The report names the restaurant as “picturesque” and it earns the number 5 slot in the Top 10.
McDonalds in Bray
Considering the other branches listed for the Top 10, McDonald’s in Bray has made it into quite a list. Taupo, New Zealand, made it to Number 1 for USA Today, a branch that includes a decommissioned DC3 plane for your dining enjoyment.
Other McDonald’s which made the list were a Georgian Mansion in New Hyde Park, New York, a fancy McDonald’s located near the Spanish Steps in Rome and an amazing one in Roswell’s “Unofficial Crash Site.”
