Tonight you can expect to see the best of Irish comedy as well as the last ever episode of Wild at Heart and the BBC’s latest crime drama. How could you say we never treat you?

Having a Laugh! Great Irish Comedy TV Moments – TV3 (7.25pm)

This programme takes a look back at some of the best shows and personalities in Irish comedy including Father Ted and Brendan O’Carroll.

Wild at Heart – UTV (8.00pm)

It’s the last ever episode of the wildlife drama. Tonight Du Plessis doesn’t get good news from the doctor, Rosie is planning her wedding and poachers steal a few of the animals.

Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2012 – Channel 4 (9.00pm)

Jimmy Carr presents the annual show which takes a look back at some of the biggest stories of the past year.

Ripper Street – BBC One (9.00pm)

In this new series a young woman is found dead and bears some of the signs of the Ripper. The Chief Inspector believes Jack has returned but another inspector believes it’s something else.

I Love You, Man – RTÉ Two (9.10pm)

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel star in this comedy about a guy who is getting married but doesn’t have any close male friends never mind a best man. One word: hilarious.
