According to Lonely Planet, Ireland is “the real deal” and “the Irish themselves are inevitably at the heart of the best the country has to offer.”
“Ireland is small, but it packs a big punch,” the 2015 Top Destination guide reads. “The cosmopolitan, contemporary Irish are just as friendly and welcoming as their forebears were known to be.”
Meanwhile, the Wild Atlantic Way has also been described as one of the best scenic drives in the world.
