If You Only Do One Thing This Week… Step Back In Time For A Night At The Vintage Cocktail Club

This is Dublin’s newest venue and best-kept secret… until now!

This isn’t somewhere you’ll stumble upon randomly or spot the cool crowd inside as you walk past. Oh no, you really have to know where to look to find the hidden hotspot that exists behind a discreet black door in Dublin’s city centre.

After passing through the inconspicuous entrance the club is accessible via two flights of stairs which made us feel like we were off to Narnia. After the climb and behind another heavy door you’ll discover three stylish floors with plush velvet curtains, soft lighting, cosy seating and old world decor.

The cocktail list will have you deliberating options for a good while but we recommend the bay leaf and elderflower gin collins.

Open from 6pm till late, seven nights a week, its soundtrack is a mix of house, old-school tunes and disco. We’d already eaten but still had a quick look at the menu and with delicious dishes like fondant potato served with black pudding and mango chutney plus anchovy and olive sticks served with burrata cheese on offer we’re planning to arrive hungry for our next visit.

Fall down the rabbit hole for yourself at 15 Crown Alley, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.

Top tip: Booking is recommended for larger groups and even for parties of two it’s a must if you want to be guaranteed a table.
