We were always told if you don’t ask for something, you won’t get it…
So Irish girls Jo, Maeve, Emma and Hutch are putting it to the test.
Facebook user Emma Mags Wall got together with her three besties and took to Adele’s page, just to ask her a small favour.
Emma’s friend Jo is turning 25 soon, as is Adele, and is there any way Adele could perhaps finance a trip to Aruba where Jo is living…? It would be great if the girls could visit Jamaica on the way home too…
The post reads:
Dear Adele,
4 Irish girls writing to you here. What’s the craic? Hope all is well. We hear you’re turning 25 this year as is our good friend Jo and in celebration of the fact we need a favour from you.
Now, Adele, you seem like a stand up kind of gal and the exact kind of person we’d love to buzz with. So we ask of you 1 favour to celebrate this milestone birthday.
Basically, we need you to buy us 4 flights to Aruba. We must leave on the 24th of July because Jo’s birthday is on the 28th and we’ll obviously need time to get over the jet lag so we can party on down. We want to spend about 6 days in Aruba then we’d love for you to fly us to Kingston Jamaica where we want to spend another 6 days before flying back to London.
We wouldn’t usually do this kind of thing but we’re kind of skint. We’re struggling artists and we need a little bit of a holiday. You know how it is.
Adele if you want in return we can do any challenge or dare that you want for charity and will post it online or whatever suits you. Obviously you’re also more than welcome to join us in Aruba too.
We know it’s a big ask but it’s a big birthday and it’s important to mark the occassion. If you want to get in touch just drop us an email at [email protected] and we’ll send on our numbers or whatever and we can touch base.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us for further information. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Jo, Emma, Maeve and Hutch.
PS loved your speech at The Golden Globes. Keep it real girl. [sic]
No biggie, Adele, but do let the girls know your decision.
PS. They loved your speech at the Golden Globes
“Keep it real girl”…
