Cathy’s Choice: Terminal Boredom
Cathy says: We’re all familiar with airport delays and how frustrating they can be when you’re planning on leaving/returning to a destination. Rather than get annoyed, Richard Dunn came up with the genius plan of making a video to pass the time. He decided power ballad All by Myself was the perfect soundtrack to accompany his hilarious routine. Check it out below, it’s well worth a watch.

Rebecca’s Choice: Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold
Rebecca says: Thankfully I’ve never been cheated on and I’m not condoning revenge or anything but I imagine I would also try to do something like this if it happens. This man, who decided to sell his cheating ex-wife’s wedding dress online using a hilarious description, is an absolute hero.

Sue’s Choice: Hey Girl.
Sue says: My favourite story this week was Seven Things You Didn’t Know About… Ryan Gosling. Although I’m not the biggest Gosling fan, I do think he’s a great actor and an all-round great guy. Some of the things I found out about him while writing this were unbelievable. Not only is he a real life hero who goes around helping children, but he can also build things and is an accomplished jazz musician. This guy.

Úna’s Choice: Ratings are coming!
Úna says: Next weekend is going to be epic. I was delighted to see this week that HBO have marked the Game of Thrones season four finale as being 66 minutes long – their longest episode to date! As an avid fan of both the books and TV show, I predict that this may be the greatest season finale in the series. Fingers crossed.

Grace’s Choice: Let The Music Play
Grace says: There are many things to be thankful for in the 21st century, and in a regular feature called ‘Reasons To Be Thankful For The Internet’, I like to express my gratitude to the wonderful world wide web. Tuesday marked the 10th anniversary of the death of soul legend Ray Charles. In a tribute to one of the greatest singer/songwriters of our time I decided to share some rare footage of the incredible musician, shot in Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre.

Michelle’s Choice: Dance Like Nobody’s Watching
Michelle says: I’m a sucker for a good wedding video, so I have all of the love for Rodney Atkinson, who decided on his stag to rope in his mates and put together an epic dance routine for his upcoming big day. From the dancing priest in Father Ted to some serious Beyoncé moves, this is pretty epic.

Liz’ Choice: One Amazing Woman
Liz says: I had the greatest pleasure of interviewing a really amazing girl Niamh O’Donoghue, and this week we shared her story of living with scoliosis. After three back operations, learning to walk again and still pursuing her own career goals, I was really moved by the girl with the big smile and incredible determination.
I can’t even begin to sum up her journey, but the account of living with scoliosis in her own words is pretty inspiring. Read the full story here.

Marie’s Choice: Summer in the City
Marie says: Now that the sun is out, it’s starting to feel a little bit like summer so I was delighted to hear of plans for a vintage cinema, outdoor market and exhibition space for Temple Bar over the next few months. Nothing beats the buzz of the city centre on a nice evening so I’ll definitely be heading in for a browse!
