Last week, four-year-old Jack Robinson lost his fight against an inoperable brain tumour. Before he passed away, Jack made a bucket list of things he would love to do before he died. His parents did their very best to help fulfil his wishes.
In the short time before his death, Jack met one of his heroes, Gary Barlow, and even had a video message sent to him from Matt Smith as he was a Doctor Who fan. However, the last wish on his list was for a Star Wars themed funeral.
At the end of last week, Jack’s friends and family gathered to pay their last respects to the little boy. His carriage was escorted by Stormtroopers and the floral wreath on the side read “JEDI”.
According to the Daily Mail, the music played was the Luke Skywalker theme and the service was introduced by the words: “Master Jack Robinson, joined the force 1st April 2014”.
His father Terence said: “Jack was a special boy, he was unique and brought everyone together. We needed to give him a unique send off, and the brilliant sunshine that came out for it was Jack looking down on us. I will always love you son.”
