Now here’s a romantic reunion with a twist. A wife who stuck by her hubby for five years while he was in jail has divorced him within weeks of his release. Why? Well she says that she simply couldn’t stand him being under her feet all the time.
“Somehow it seemed very romantic while he was away. Despite the hardship, we had a common purpose and a future to look forward to. I used to visit him often. We made plans for the future,” said Aying Wu, from the Fujian province in Southern China.
“I really was counting down the days until he was released. I thought my life would be complete and everything would be great when he was released,” she added.
However, when Aying’s hubby was finally released she quickly discovered that she couldn’t stand the sight of him.

Aying soon realised that her reunion with her hubby wasn't as romantic as she had hoped
“He was always in the way and criticising me. It just seemed as though he did not have anything good to say to me,” said Aying, speaking in court.
“I’d been used to making my own way and I couldn’t stand the way he tried to boss me about,” she added.
Aying’s hubby claimed that he was only trying to help his wife by giving her “some tips to improve things.”
