Fr Paddy Rushe has become something of an internet sensation after this clip of him doing the Harlem Shake went viral.
In typical Harlem Shake fashion, the video starts with one person emerging from the building to the tune. He jumps in the air and all of a sudden he’s surronded by dozens of other students (some dressed as storm troopers mind you).
Our favourite part of the video is when it cuts to Fr Paddy Rushe who is giving it absolute socks in front of DKIT. Fair play.
“My philosophy is about taking part, you have to take part in life. Young people like these trendy things, it was a very innocent but fun thing. I will do anything that will make students feel that I am approachable,” said Fr Paddy, speaking to the Irish Sun.
“I never really felt that I could dance, but I can shake a little. I will leave it up to the public to decide if I can dance or not,” he added.
