A 21-year-old English lad has decided to use Tinder to find the perfect match – between himself and a brand new job.
James Shamsi has included a link to his CV and his LinkedIn on his Tinder profile, hoping that people will swipe the right way to hire him.
The King’s College graduate has just moved to LA and told The Daily Dot: “You need connections to get a job. What better way to put myself out there and start making contacts than using Tinder?”
James even has his own hash tag and boasts in his list of achievements that he has organised the largest Gangnam Style flashmob in the UK and created and growth hacked a viral YouTube channel… hmm…
“I chose Tinder specifically for one main reason – I’m a broke student. It cost me nothing to do it, and yet it will be seen by thousands every day,” James added cheerfully.
