Love, (amongst other things), is in the air in several states in the US thanks to a brand new app that promises to spark romance between ‘stoners’.
According to The Independent, ‘High There!’ is available to download in US states that have either ‘decriminalised the drug or made it available for medical use’.
The app essentially works the same as Tinder and pairs people up based on location, preferences and cannabis consumption levels.
In an interview with Fast Company blog Co.Exist, the High There! CEO Todd Mitchem explained that he found other dating services pretty useless.
“I hated dating on other sites and apps because as soon as the idea of my cannabis consumption came up — date over,” he revealed.
“I actually walked out of a date (after paying of course) and said to myself, ‘that’s it'”.
Mitchem also explained that the app is so much more than just a matchmaking service.
“Just the other day I connected with a dude and talked back and forth for a while about life, weed, and built a friendship,” he said.
He added that High There! could also be helpful for a “cancer patient who needs friends and support, the guy who lands in Denver and does not know where people to buy great products legally”.
We know a few guys that would definitely approve of this app…
