It’s going to be a brilliant couple of days!
The National Basketball Arena in Tallaght will play host to a very special weekend this weekend, as Basketball Ireland kick off ‘Pink Weekend’ from Saturday, October 31st.
‘Pink Weekend’ is an initiative by the Women’s Senior Clubs Committee of Basketball Ireland to bring the Women’s National League under one roof in what looks set to be an absolutely fantastic and action-packed weekend.
Eight games will take place over the two days – October 31st and November 1st – with admission free.
Supporters are instead being asked to make a donation to Breast Cancer Ireland and organisers are promising that it’s going to be the place to be in Dublin this weekend.
Teams taking part in the action include: Longford Falcons, Oblate Dynamos, Team Garvey’s Tralee, ITC Basketball, Pyrobel Killester, Team Montenotte Hotel, Meteors, Portlaoise Panthers, Court Yard Liffey Celtics, Singleton’s SuperValu Brunell, Ulster Rockets, Marble City Hawks, Team DenJoes American Style, Fr. Matthews, DCU Mercy and UL Huskies.
