According to new research, the way you and your partner sleep can actually say a lot about your relationship.

Relationship psychologist Corinne Sweet teamed up with Dreams and Travelodge to create the below infographic which reveals some pretty interesting information.

Although you might think that having your back to your partner and sleeping on opposite ends of the bed signifies distance in your relationship, it’s actually a positive sign and is very common among couples.

If you and your other half like to spoon, this often indicates one partner is more protective than the other and if you tend to starfish across the bed and take up more space, you might like to wear the pants in the relationship…
