The weekend is finally here and really what could be better than a bank holiday weekend?
*Irish answer: A sunny bank holiday weekend*
If you’ve plans for the next three days, then we’re sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like it’s going to be windy, wet and cold.
Really though, are you that surprised?
Yes, that’s right, the lovely folk at Met Éireann have certainly burst a few bubbles with their predictions and we’re not too happy about the sounds of this at all, at all.
While today is due to be mild, cloudy and sometimes breezy, scattered outbreaks of rain are expected, and this rain is set to get more persistent as the day moves on.
Absolutely fantastic.
Heavy rain is expected for tonight, but don’t fret, as Saturday is expected to be drier with more sunny spells… if you are willing to go without your lie-in that is.
Yes that’s right folks, as Saturday progresses, scattered showers are forecast during the day, which will turn to heavy rainfall, particularly in the west and north.
Sunday is expected to be mainly dry in the east and south, but again the west and north are set to have rainfall.
Meanwhile, for that fabulous Monday off, you might want to consider a pyjama day, the forecast predicts strong and gusty winds, particularly on the south and western coasts.
Overall, it’s expected that the day will be cloudy with rain, which will become widespread going into Monday evening.
Just in time for work on Tuesday right?
