This weekend has seen some extreme weather and judging by the latest forecasts, it doesn’t look set to change anytime soon.
A wind warning was issued last night, status yellow, and it’s in place until 7pm this evening.
Met Éireann predict a “windy and cloudy” day but there will be a band “of persistent heavy rain” later this afternoon.
Much like the weekend, you can expect plenty of wind with highs of 100km/h. Don’t put up the umbrella, we repeat, Don’t put up the brollie.
However, despite the wind and rain, there’s a little bit of good news as temperatures are expected to be unseasonably mild with highs of 14 degrees.
That’s pretty mad given that we’re in the practically in the middle of December.
There’s unpredictable weather for the week ahead so it’s yet another week of not having a clue how to dress.
We’re still holding out for a white Christmas though!
