This is what you should look out for.
Your eyes might meet across a busy pub or you may feel like you have good chemistry with someone but how do you know for sure that they’re interested in you?
To avoid any awkwardness, experts have highlighted some signs which you should look out for.
James Preece, also known as The Dating Guru, and Alexander Ziff, who is the founder of Ciao Dating app, have given their advice to The Daily Mail about the five signs which prove someone is interested in you or finds you attractive.
They say the signs are:
They get close
James and Alexander say that a person will begin to move closer to you if they are interested in you. So it could be a case of physically moving closer to speak with you or simple hand gestures like touching your arm.
They blink a lot
If they’re blinking a lot or just generally fidgeting then chances are they like you. The prolonged eye contact and the excitement can dry out their eyes causing irritation which leads to over blinking. Bigger pupils and blushing are also signs.
They tease you
Teasing is classic way of flirting. Both men and women tend to do it when they’re chatting to someone they are attracted to. If a man is talking too much it’s another way of showing he likes you. This comes from animal nature where the male shows off to impress the female.
They comment on your appearance
Getting a compliment is always a way of showing that someone is interested in you but even more so when they notice something new about you. So, if you’ve just had your hair done and he comments, then it’s a sure sign he’s into you.
They play hard to get
If they’re not texting back it’s not the worst thing in the world. They could just be trying to play it cool and not scare you off rather than just ignoring you.
