4. Sisterly Love.
The sisters are completely supportive of each other, in fact so supportive that when Kate read about the role of Zoe Barnes in House of Cards, Rooney put her forward for it without question.
5. Great Reputations.
Rooney is just 28 while Kate is 30 and yet both actresses enjoy some of the best reputations in the business. They have worked with the likes of David Fincher and Christopher Nolan and appear in some of the best films and TV programmes of the last ten years. That's quite the achievement already.
6. Kate in Entourage
She played assistant Brittany in the show and basically, she was the best assistant ever. Really, let's be honest.
7. David Fincher
Both sisters have worked with the director in the past and believe us, this is quite an honour. Kate has worked with Fincher for the brilliant House of Cards while Rooney has appeared in the Social Network and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

8. Brave Roles
Neither sister has shied away from any difficult roles. Rooney's role in the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was harrowing to say the least, especially a very cruel rape scene while Kate really threw herself into the role for House of Cards, which fans of the series will know has a particularly difficult scene in the second series.

9. They keep a low profile.
Ever hear much about the Mara sisters in the press? Not really. They like to keep a low profile which is completely commendable.
10. Red Carpet Style.
One word. Stunning.
11. This photo.
Because anyone who pushes Ryan Gosling away must have unfathomable strength.

I’m a 35-year-old in HR, earning €26k, and this was my biggest financial mistake Let’s be honest, most of us are at least a little bit nosy when it comes to money. We want to know what other people are earning, how they’re actually getting by, and what their spending really looks like (not the […]
