Fans of Bridget Jones will be deeply disappointed by some of the content in the latest book in the series, Mad About The Boy.
According to BBC news, fans have been expressing their horror that Mark D’Arcy, played by Colin Firth in the films, will be killed off in the book.
In extracts of the book, which were published in the Sunday Times magazine ahead of the release, Bridget reveals that Mark has passed away five years previously.
It is also revealed that Jones has two children, Mabel and Billy. She has also moved on with toyboy, Roxster.
However, fans have taken to social media in their droves to vent their rage at the author for making this decision.
Poor Mark.
