For anyone who shops online, searching through the review section of the product’s listing is pretty much a standard rule.
Rather than relying on a product description, finding tried and tested reviews are usually a good way of knowing whether to splash your cash or not.
Unless you happen to be in the market for new earphones, and stumbled across a review that guaranteed you’ll hear no outside noises… including your neighbours being stabbed.
The disturbing review is still displaying on Amazon, with the note detailing some pretty alarming moments from the incidents:
“According to the cop who interviewed us, the attacker rang the upstairs doorbell, and when the guy answered the attacker forced his way in and stabbed the guy.
“You want to know what scary part is? I didn’t hear a thing, thanks to my amazing HyperX Cloud 2 headphones.”

What’s even more concerning was the debate the review caused for another Amazon user Francis Santos-Viola who replied:
“I disagree. A few weeks ago a man got thrown out of the window of the apartment directly above mine, and my pair of HyperX Cloud 2 headphones was not able to cancel out the sounds of the window breaking and the man’s neighbor crying out for his friend to wake up.”
While there’s nothing to say whether this is a hoax or not, we’re really hoping this is just a sick marketing move.
