If you ever find yourself having trouble with one of your neighbours, here’s what you shouldn’t do. A woman in China, who named her dog after her neighbour, has been ordered to hand over €620 in compensation.
The Austrian Times reports that Hu Lin had a major falling out with her neighbour Wang Sun after they disagreed over a building extension to his home six years ago.
Hu Lin was reportedly so upset and angry over what had happened that she decided to name her dog after Wang as an insult and whenever Wang was within earshot, Hu Lin started cursing at the pet loudly.
“To get her own back she named her dog Wang and then whenever she saw me she would start swearing and insulting the dog using my name,” said Wang, speaking at the proceedings at the courthouse in China.
“Everyone knew what she was up to,” he added.

We won’t lie, it’s an interesting way of getting revenge, however Wang had the last laugh as the judge agreed that Hu Lin’s actions had caused poor Wang some severe “mental anguish.” In order to make up for everything she had put Wang through, Hu Lin was forced to pay a €620 fine and she was also forced to apologise to her neighbour.
We wonder if she was forced to apologise to her poor dog too?
