Have You Seen This Giant Duck? It’s Gone Missing In China

For duck's sake!

Rebecca McKnight

A giant inflatable duck has gone missing after stopping off in Guiyang city in southwest China. Just to put it into perspective, the thing was 59ft tall and apparently weighed a ton.

The inflatable animal, which was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman and has been touring the world since 2007, disappeared from the Nanming River.

According to reports, the area has been hit by storms and flooding recently, leading many to believe that rising waters swept the duck away.

Until it is relocated (please do keep an eye out), the world will have to make to with a massive golden toad which has been erected in Beijing following the duck’s disappearance.

The toad is over 70ft tall and represents wealth and good fortune… you never know, it might just bring the duck back!
