We have learned at this stage that anything Graham Linehan puts his hand to turns to gold. Black Books was certainly no exception. The comedy which revolved around a drunk, cranky bookseller called Bernard, his slightly crazy employee, Manny, and a fellow drunk but hilarious friend, Fran. We learned so much from there. Here are eleven things we learned from Black Books.
1. This is the only acceptable way to drink alcohol.

It’s good for the soul. Just try not to get too attached.

Avoid calls if you have to.
8. Dress up for events.
It’s nice to dress up for occasions.

Let everyone know how you feel.
10. You don’t have to do what you don’t want to do.

Know what you want from life.
