The kindness of strangers can really make someone’s day.
Most of the time, if someone dials the wrong number the recipient just ignores the message or simply tells them they’ve got the wrong number.
However sometimes it can result in something quite special.
When a teen went to ring her mom’s new number it went to voicemail and so she left a message.
As it turns out, 17-year-old Jaileene Andrade actually dialled a complete strangers number.
Jaileene happened to text another mother, who had lost her only daughter. The unnamed woman texted back letting Jaileene how grateful she was for the message.

”This is the lady you thought was your mom.” The text began
‘I just wanted to let you know your wrong number was a great Christmas gift for me, I lost my only daughter around the holidays. So hearing you say Hey Mom made me feel so good. And you have a Merry Christmas.”
While it must have been hard for the woman to hear it, it also brought her comfort which is very heartwarming.
It didn’t stop there however, as once Jaileene posted the screenshot of the text on Twitter (and didn’t blur out the phone number), other people followed suit and sent the woman messages of supports and Christmas well-wishes.
