Gardaí Being Investigated For Allowing Men To Strip To Avoid Paying Fine

Only in Ireland.

The Meath Chronicle have reported possibly the most bizarre news story so far this year.

The story was sent to our bros at JOE by reader Robert Carroll.

It reads:

An internal Garda investigation is under way into allegations that female officers in County Meath let male strippers perform for them to get out of a fine.

The Gardaí have confirmed that they are investigating allegations of inappropriate behaviour.

The incident is believed to have occurred in the Garda station before Christmas.

It has been reported that men were returning from a gig before Christmas when they were stopped for having no tax disc. Instead of issuing a fine, it has been alleged that they were offered a chance to dance their way out of the penalty.

We’re lost for words.
