Galway’s Tigh Nora is looking for a Ginbassador and you’re welcome

We're very... gintrigued.

We're sure you've heard of Tigh Nora by now. But had you heard that they're looking for a Ginbassador? Galway's only dedicated gin bar wants to make one gin-loving guy or gal's dreams come true. The chosen Ginbassador will get a personalised gin hamper with lots of Tigh Nora goodies to sample and review - for research purposes, obvs - but that's just the beginning. He or she will become a bit of a connoisseur over the next twelve months, tasting some of the 140 gins that Tigh Nora has on offer. The Ginbassador and a guest will also get to attend all Tigh Nora events throughout the year as VIPs, including the monthly GINjoyment Club. Best of all, the Ginbassador will basically get a PHD in Gin-ology (a field that we totally just made up) - they'll be sent to distilleries in Ireland and abroad to learn everything there is to know about gin-making, from the botanicals that go in through to the distilling process. The gin whizz will even get to make their own mother's ruin at Listoke Distillery and Gin School.  Think you know your Hendricks from your Cork Dry? This could be your chance to shine. Tigh Nora's only requirements are that applicants are over 18, available for Ginbassador duties throughout the year and love gin. "This could be a short video, image, written message or anything else that captures the imagination, showing you love gin," said Tigh Nora.

The closing date for applications is 19 November so if you're ginterested (sorry), you'd better get cracking.
