Listen, we all know that planning a hen party is a bloody ordeal. You want it to be different, but you don't want to end up taking out a loan for it either. A glorious middle ground between The Maldives and Carrick-On-Shannon is the key, folks. WELL, I recently discovered the stunning Inch House, nestled in the heart of Tipperary. And I'm here to tell you that it is honestly the perfect location for a hen party... or any party tbh. Formally an award winning country house and restaurant, it has been transformed as an exclusive country house hire. The house accommodates groups of up to 16-18 people (but theres room for 30 in the massive dining room!). Inch House has six luxury en-suite bedrooms, each decorated with stunning period furnishings. The drawing room is the perfect place to relax by the fire and have the chats and glass (or bottle) of wine. The library bar is fully functioning and can be stocked to your group's taste. Meaning you can have all the gin you like. The great dining hall can sit up to 30 people for a dinner party, which is pretty impressive! The house uniquely also has a fully restored secret chapel which is a grand spot for photo ops or as a yoga space. Or just to go for a little confession after the night before! The house sits on a 300 acre working farm, totally hidden from the hustle and bustle of city life it's the perfect get away. However, it's just five miles from Thurles , which is on the Dublin-Cork- Limerick train line. It's honestly gorgeous... I might just book in with the gals for no reason. Why not?
