Fungie the dolphin has been injured with a deep wound

We hope little Fungie is okay.

Our Kerry friend Fungie the dolphin has taken ill with a bad blood wound on his body. The nation's favourite dolphin was reportedly cut by a propeller of a boat in Dingle harbour. The dolphin's wound is visible from far away, with the cut seen as red and bloody. OUCH. Who would DO this to our poor little mammal? Posted to the dolphin's Facebook, fans were reassured that Fungie is recovering well from his bad experience. Get well soon Fungie baby!
