The 2013 Tattersalls International Horse Trials & Country Fair in association with Horse Sport Ireland, was today launched at Tattersalls and promises to be bigger and better with a host of new country fair attractions on offer for all the family to enjoy.

Ireland’s premier International Three Day Event, returns this June Bank Holiday weekend in Ratoath Co. Meath, from May 30th to June 2nd 2013. Tatts is one of the top family friendly events this summer that also offers real value for money. Entry for the Tattersalls International Horse Trials & Country Fair starts at €5 for adult entry while under 12’s go free.

The popular family event combines the highest standards of equestrian Eventing with all the thrills and spills of a classic country fair. “Tatts 2013” will again play host to Irish and International Eventers as they compete in three equine disciplines of dressage, cross-country and show jumping over the weekend. Attendees will get the chance to see top Irish Eventers and International Olympic medal winners in action while soaking up the atmosphere of a country fair.

With a hound parade, novelty dog shows, free vintage swing boats, and Victorian style carnival rides, “Tatts 2013” offers everything you would expect from a traditional country fair. Avid shoppers can also pick up their favourite country chic brands at the fantastic range of shopping stands on offer while animal lovers are invited to bring along their pooch so that every member of the family gets to go to the fair.

According to Roger Casey, Managing Director of Tattersalls Ireland;

“A year after the excitement of the London Olympics we are very much looking forward to welcoming back top Irish and International Eventers such as 2013 Badminton Horse Trials winner Jock Paget and previous Tattersalls winner William Fox-Pitt along with Irish Olympic team members Aoife Clark, Mark Kyle, Camilla Speirs, Joseph Murphy and Michael Ryan as they compete in the highly contested Tattersalls International Horse Trials. While all the action is an absolute must-see, Tatts is now also one of the top family days out over the June Bank Holiday weekend. We offer real value and top quality attractions to suit all tastes and ages. So make sure to mark your diaries and join us for what promises to be our best year yet.”
