Frozen: The Musical has officially opened and we’re booking tickets already

One ticket to New York, please.

For years now, New York's Broadway has been the home to some absolutely incredible shows. And now Disney has unveiled a new "snow-stopping" musical to join them. That's right, Frozen has made it to Broadway. Teasing the opening night on Facebook, Disney said:

"One ticket to New York please… The snow-stopping Frozen on Broadway officially took to the stage this week!"

They also released a trailer for the musical, which - after watching it - has us wanting to book tickets to New York to see it. As you would expect, the costumes are absolutely spot on. Elsa is wearing her icy blue Let It Go gown, while Hans is decked out in his royal outfit from the Southern Isles. And Anna and Kristoff are dressed for adventure as they begin the trek to go track down Elsa. There's even a real life Olaf and Sven on stage. Or at least as close as we'd get to seeing a real version of either of them. And while we don't hear any actual singing in the trailer, the score alone  sounds absolutely dreamy. So, basically, it's looking like a must-see for any Disney fan. There's a slight catch, though - tickets may set you back quite a bit. And you'll have to get them pretty far in advance. The best availability for the show is currently for the month of August, where - on some dates - prices range from $155.50 (€125.20) for a spot in the balcony to $833 (€670) for orchestra seats. But if you don't fancy making the trip to the Big Apple to see it, there were rumours last year that the theatre adaptation of the Disney classic could be heading to London's West End. You'll just have to wait until 2020 (possibly). The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye reported last year that the Theatre Royal Drury Lane was looking into the production, but that it was "early days". https://twitter.com/BazBam/status/916069942411386880 He wrote:

"Theatre Royal Drury Lane is theatre 'of interest' for @FrozenBroadway - could re-open Drury Lane following restoration in 2020. "Early days."

We've got our fingers crossed that it'll be making its West End debut sooner rather than later - wherever it ends up. But, in the mean time, check out the trailer below.
