Free WiFi You Say? Dublin Reveals New Spots In City Centre To Browse The Web For Free

The capital is set to become a hub of Tweets, Facebook posts, blog comments, news-checking and YouTube-playing as the Dublin City Council has just announced a free WiFi service for the city centre to allow free internet access in the city.

The new service will be launched tomorrow.

Now there’s no excuse for not sharing the photo of you grinning beside Molly Malone, the likelihood is you’ll never be lost again with Google Maps on hand and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t take an hour out to read a new Kindle download on a sunny day?

The twelve spots where you will be able to get free WiFi in the city centre are:

Smithfield Square

Barnardo’s Square

Clarendon Street

St. Patrick’s Park

O’Connell Street Plaza / GPO

Temple Bar Square

Wolfe Tone Square

Frontage to the Convention Centre Dublin

Merrion Square

Henry Street

Grafton Street

Outdoor amphitheatre located at Civic Offices
