For Sale: One Used Groomsman, Irish. “Slightly Rattled but Good to Go”

One previous owner, superb performance.

Rebecca McKnight

If you’ve ever been to an Irish wedding you’ll know: pretty much anything goes.

If you’ve ever thrown an Irish wedding you’ll know: it costs a small fortune.

All the advice websites suggest selling on the things you don’t need after the big day – five candelabras, twenty-five tea-light holders etc. We’re not entirely sure that advice should extend to personnel involved in the big day, but that’s exactly what’s happening to this poor chap in Waterford.

The unnamed gent is up for grabs for the bargain sum of €25, after one outing in the role and a “super performance given 19/06/2015”.

If you’re interested, you’ll need to know that his drink of choice is a champagne cider and he can “dance like Flatley and sing like Dana”. We’d give all kinds of everything to see that.

Don’t all rush too fast though – he’s “slightly rattled, but good to go next Thursday”.
