Old Trafford Stadium Tour

Whether you’re a footie fan or not, this stadium is one to see. Go behind the scenes at the home of Manchester United, checking out the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, the players’ dressing room and even emerge from the tunnel to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Red Devils. Eight minute tours run 7 days a week from 09:40 to 16:30 except on match days.

Trafford Centre

Shop until you drop at one of the UK’s most impressive shopping centres. An incredible ten per cent of the UK population lives within a 45-minute drive of the shopping centre, and it attracts more than 35 million visits annually. You’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to dining too, as the centre boasts Europe’s largest food court in The Orient.

The Manchester Museum

Walk with dinosaurs at this location, home to an array of treasures from the natural world and the many cultures it is home to. Highlights include a T.rex and fossils of other pre-historic creatures, ancient Egyptian artefacts and live amphibians and reptiles. You can handle objects from the collection, take part in hands-on activities or enjoy a glass of wine of cup of coffee whilst exploring the latest ideas in science, culture and the arts.

Manchester Opera House

Partake in some cultural treats by bagging tickets to a show in The Opera House in Quay Street. The 1,920-seater commercial touring theatre plays host to touring musicals, ballet, concerts and a Christmas pantomime. It is also Grade II listed building, so just think of all the visitors who have enjoyed those seats before you, and the many stars who have treaded the boards.
