Ibiza has a reputation, quite rightly, as one of the party capitals of the world. With world-famous DJs performing there every year, including the likes of David Guetta and Fatboy Slim, it’s perfectly acceptable to party all night, and spend the days catching some rays on the sands.

So where should you pan out to soak up the sun?

Playa d’en Bossa Beach is the longest stretch of beach on the island. Dotted with bars and beach restaurants, you’ll never go hungry!

A ten minute drive from Ibiza town though, and you’ll find Sa Caleta beach. In a stunning setting, backed by beautiful red cliffs, the shallow waters make it a perfect choice for families or less than confident swimmers.

San Antonio boasts a picturesque harbor along with its broad sandy beach and palm-lined promenade. The sunset strip in San Antonio is one of the island’s landmarks and a must see for any tourist. If you get bored of lying out, you’ll also find a variety of watersports awaiting you, including parasailing and scuba-diving.

Fifteen minutes away from San Antonio, Cala Conta beach awaits you. Sparkling turquoise waters and incredible views make it one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. It’s also one of the best beached to watch the sunset on, before you get ready to party…

One great option for a morning beach break is a breakfast yoga class on the beach. The luxury Amante beach club has introduced a programme of classes on its open-air terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, bliss!

And for those nighttime activities we mentioned, here’s the heads up on the seven major clubs you’ll find on the island:

Amnesia – located in the middle of the island, near San Rafael

DC10 – located near the airport on the road to Las Salinas.

Eden – located on the waterfront in San Antonio.

Es Paradis – located on the waterfront in San Antonio

Pacha – located very near the Ibiza Marina

Privilege – located in the middle of the island, near San Rafael

Space – located in Playa d’en Bossa, near the beach.

So there you have it, your perfect beach break in Ibiza, sorted!
