Fifty Shades Actor Tipped To Play Nidge In US Version Of Love/Hate

He might have opted out of playing Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades film but Charlie Hunnam is now being tipped to take on another famous role... Love/Hate's Nidge. According to bets taken by Paddy Power the actor is the favourite to play the lead in a US version of the hit crime drama. Charlie Hunnam is the favourite to play Nidge. The bookmaker discovered that Hunnam is number one in the eyes of the public followed closely by Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul. As for the other main characters, Aidan Gillen has been tipped to reprise his role of John Boy Power while Ian Somerhalder and Nicholas Hoult are among those named to step into Robert Sheehan’s shoes as Darren. Ian Somerhalder is at the top of the list to take on the role of Darren. And while we don’t reckon anybody could be a better Fran than Peter Coonan, former Friends star Giovanni Ribisi is at the top of the list. A spokesperson for Paddy Power said: “They say crime doesn’t pay but with a fourth series in the pipeline and a potential US remake in the pipeline it’s fair to say that the Love/Hate gang are an exception to that rule.”
