Maggie Farrelly is set to make GAA history this coming Sunday when she referees the minor championship clash between Fermanagh and Antrim.
The Cavan official will be the first female referee to take charge of a men’s inter-county championship match in the history of the GAA.
Maggie has refereed a number of LGFA games.
Farrelly has been making a name for herself in LGFA refereeing circles over the years, and had previously acted as a sideline official in Croke Park when Dublin went head-to-head with Kerry in Division One last year.
