Following on from Shane MacGowan on Fair City, Scouting for Girls in Emmerdale and a list as long as your arm of special guests in Corrie... one familiar TV face has filmed a guest appearance for Hollyoaks.
Belfast man and Sky News/UTV presenter Eamonn Holmes has revealed that he has filmed an appearance with the Channel 4 soap.

SKY News & UTV presenter Holmes will appear in Hollyoaks
Filming took place earlier today, with Holmes working alongside regular cast member Rachel Shenton, who plays Mitzeee Minniver.
This Morning Eamonn, 53, took to his Twitter page to thank Hollyoaks cast member Rachel Shenton, who plays the part of Mitzeee Minniver, for all her help, saying: “Just to say @RachelShenton, thank you for being a delight to work with. Do you think the audience will take to our blossoming romance plot?"
He followed up with: "Big thanks to Hollyoaks for giving young acting talent like myself and @RachelShenton our big breaks. Valentine's Day Special."
Holmes is not the only UTV presenter with a burgeoning soap career though, it has also been revealed that chat show queen Lorraine Kelly is set to appear on the famous Coronation Street cobbles this Christmas.
