Had a rough week? Well, the weekend is in sight so it's time to put the working week to rest. Before you down tools though, take a look at some of our favourite stories from the week that was, (including a member of the Gardaí having the craic in epic fashion!) and just try not to smile....

Revelers at the Indiependence festival over the Bank Holiday weekend got a serious kick out of this. A fun-loving Garda made his way on stage at the Cork gig and it certainly looks like he had an absolute ball. That's what you call a Garda on the beat.
3) Muppet Movie Magic
It doesn’t matter how old you get, you are never too old for The Muppets. It made our year last year when Kermit and co were back on the big screen with Jason Segel, and we’re counting the days to the follow-up, starring Tina Fey, Ty Burrell and Ricky Gervais. The very first teaser trailer launched this week… so it’s cool to start queuing at the cinema now, right?
