Back in October, a study was released by the University of Chicago which stated that when it came to having a choice between sex and Facebook, most people would choose Facebook.
Now we don’t know about you, but we always found this slightly hard to believe. Like, we know that Facebook and social networking is addictive, but could it seriously top the high you get from a romp with your other half? We think not!
Thankfully, a new study has been released today which completely rubbishes the idea that spending an hour on Facebook is better than having an orgasm.
Would you really rather spend time on Facebook instead of spending it with your other half?
Researchers at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand have found that when it comes to various different activities in life, sex trumps it all.
The study, which examined 30 common activities like drinking alcohol, volunteering, travelling and becoming a parent, found that sexual intimacy ranked first in terms of pleasure, engagement and meaning.
Hmmm, we can’t say we’re exactly shocked at these findings in fairness…
On the other hand, checking Facebook was stuck firmly in the same ranks as recovering from illness and doing housework.
Seriously though ladies, in all honesty, would you rather have an orgasm or have a creep on Facebook?
